Into the Sun!

We have now formally launched the Argos on its journey, into the sun!

Compered by the brilliant Narrelle Harris,on the 7th of November Argonautica Press held our first ever event at Readings Hawthorn to launch our first original title, Shadowmancy.

While this is close to home territory for me, co-founder Jason Fischer flew in from South Australia for the event and Shadowmancy Illustrator Nicholas Hunter flew in from Armidale, New South Wales to participate in the festivities. Skelly, our mascot, came in pieces from his home in Narre Warren to make sure everyone paid appropriate homage to the true master, Ray Harryhausen.

We drank wine, we signed a whole heap of books, we answered a bunch of questions… it was a big night and we’d like extend a huge thank you to Readings for hosting us, to my brother for the lending us Skelly, to Narrelle for keeping it classy, and to all the brilliant people who came out to see us.
